Hotel Petrus

Perfect for an overnight stay on a long road trip. Very close to the highway. Clean. No luxury but it had all the basics amenities for a comfortable short stay. 24h reception that accepted our last-minute booking. For the money (around 30e/night in August 2024) it was a great value.

The friendly welcome from the receptionist and the great service from our waiter. Even though our visit coincided with a large local wedding and a large visiting coach party, the staff took great to ensure that we were well looked after. An excellent location for an overnight stay between Croatia and Bulgaria really close to the motorway but with the sense of a lively local town. Very good value for money.

Private parking with CCTV 24/7. Location felt safe, room was quite clean, breakfast was amazing value for money, pet friendly hotel and staff was very kind and nice.

Obviously, the architecture alone makes Hotel Petrus worth paying attention to, but there is a lot more to the place than wacky design. The staff are tremendous, for a start, full of attention and conversation and all the rest. The location is perfect for anything you'd want to do in Paraćin, smack-bang in the centre of town. The bed was comfy. I'm deadly serious about the poster too, save that thing for me please.

We were travelling with an electric car and primarily we chose this hotel, because they have a 22kW wallbox, which we could use to charge our car during the night. It is free for the hotel guests. Our room was upgraded to a suite, with a jacuzzi in the room. It was a nice gesture, although we didn't have time to enjoy it, because we arrived at midnight and left after breakfast. The buffet breakfast was quite good with several hot and cold options. Overall it was a very good value for the money.
